When we host parties, mocktail recipes are the best! I always like to have a non-alcoholic recipe so any kids or non-drinking adults can enjoy some fun as well. This recipe is perfect to add to the list because espresso martinis are a fan favorite!

You can use regular or decaf coffee, or you can replace that with cold brew depending on what you love best. You make your own coffee syrup, so this recipe is a classic sweet martini minus the alcohol! Every person in your home will feel included in this delicious alcohol-free experience.

Mel’s Expert tips

  • For the coffee simple syrup you will need coffee or cold brew. For the coffee mocktail, you will need espresso or cold brew. The coffee syrup mimics Kahlua in the recipe.
  • If you like a creamy mocktail espresso martini, you can add milk (dairy or nondairy, like coconut milk, almond milk, or oat milk) into the shaker as well.
  • You could add some flavor variation depending on your taste – add some vanilla extract, vanilla syrup or even coconut cream for a different flavor!
  • Use decaf coffee if you don’t want the effects of the regular caffeine in the coffee.
  • Be sure to try our Dr. Espresso drink for another great coffee experience or our Lemon Lavender Martini – it’s the perfect sophisticated sip for any occasion, also alcohol free!
