Mimosas are one of the best parts of brunch – and flavored mimosas are even better. This Strawberry Mimosa Mocktail uses strawberry puree and non-alcoholic champagne to make the best Sunday Morning (or anytime) drink!

Whether you’re celebrating Mother’s Day, Easter, Spring, or Summer, a mimosa is an essential part of any breakfast or brunch celebration. I’ve made a Berry Bellinis before – but it has alcohol and is more of a dessert. So what if you want a fresh strawberry drink that’s alcohol-free? Enter this recipe with strawberry puree from fresh berries!

How to make A Strawberry Mimosa Mocktail

  • To make the puree you’ll need fresh (or thawed frozen) strawberries, granulated sugar, and water. All you have to do is puree in a blender and then, if you want, strain it through a fine-mesh strainer. We use this puree in our strawberry agua fresca as well!
  • It’s optional, but you can add a squeeze of lemon juice for freshness (lemon and strawberry is a refreshingly simple combination of citrus).
  • You’ll have more puree than you need for this recipe, but you can freeze it in ice cube trays so you can make this strawberry mimosa recipe anytime you want (or make a Strawberry Agua Fresca or use it for Strawberry Mojitos)!
  • Once you have the puree you’ll just add it to a champagne flute with non-alcoholic Prosecco or use a sub like sparkling grape juice or my non-alcoholic champagne recipe.
  • You could also use sparkling water – but you may need to taste it for sweetness level. Or use lemon-lime soda.
  • Add a strawberry to the rim of the glass for garnish.

How to make a Mimosa Pitcher

  • Add an entire bottle of virgin champagne to a large pitcher with 3/4 cup strawberry puree. Make sure both are chilled, and don’t make the punch until ready to serve.
  • One of the tricks I have for keeping a mimosa cold is to use frozen fruit as ice – so use frozen strawberries or even sliced frozen oranges or lemons to keep it nice and cold.
  • Pour as desired into champagne glasses.
