Picture a sandy beach and the ocean with this Island Breeze Mocktail – a virgin version of a popular cocktail recipe – lots of delicious juices that’ll transport you to paradise.

Two glasses of tropical cocktails with orange hue, garnished with pineapple slices and cherries. They are served in goblet-style glasses on a white coaster. Lemon slices and cherries are scattered on the gray surface.

The inspiration for this drink came from a trip to Hawaii – the cocktail menu had what they called an Island Breeze drink with cranberry and white rum but I wanted to create a non-alcoholic version to drink at home. This easy drink recipe will remind you of relaxation and the beach!

How to make Virgin Island Breeze

  1. We use juices to compensate for the alcohol – orange juice, lemon juice, and pineapple juice.
  2. Just like the original, we top it off with cranberry juice and a bit of grenadine for sweetness and color.
  3. If you don’t have grenadine you can use maraschino cherry juice.
  4. To cut the sweetness of the juice I like to add club soda, but you can use lemon lime soda (or diet soda).
  5. Garnish the drink with a pineapple and cherry.

How to make Island Breeze Punch

It’s really easy to make this into a party punch – all you need to do is multiply the recipe by the number of servings you want. For 8 main servings, use 3 cups orange juice, 1 1/2 cups lemon and pineapple juices, 1/2 cup cranberry juice, and 2 tablespoons grenadine. It’s also great to use soda to make the punch go farther, so add as much (or as little) as you like. Don’t add the soda until right before serving so it won’t go flat. To keep it cold, use frozen fruit chunks, like when making sangria.
