This Crockpot Pizza Dip is an easy appetizer or snack that’s great for parties, game-day, or holidays. Italian sausage simmers in a homemade pizza sauce before it’s topped with cheese and olives, just like a classic pizza. Add your favorite crackers or other dippers, and it will be a hit.

Recipe Tips

You can cook the sausage a day in advance, keep it in the refrigerator and then assemble and cook the dip the next day.

Try using hot Italian sausage for a spicier flavor. For a mild version, use mild sausage and omit the red pepper flakes.

For a different flavor, try swapping the cheddar cheese for mozzarella or provolone cheese.

If you want to add pepperoni to your pizza dip, I recommend chopping some up and stirring it into the dip just before you put it in the serving bowl. Then add your cheese and other toppings.

Leftover pizza dip will keep in the refrigerator for two to three days. This is the perfect warm dip to serve alongside other favorite appetizers like chicken wings, potato skins, and nachos for your game-day parties or holiday celebrations. Enjoy!
