A Moscow Mule is one of the easiest and most delicious drinks to create at home – and it’s incredibly easy to make it non-alcoholic! This is a Strawberry Mule recipe – flavors of muddled strawberries are added into the gingery drink – you won’t miss the vodka!

I first learned how to make Moscow Mules at home during 2020…and shortly thereafter I decided to start making them mocktail mules. Turning this favorite cocktail recipe into a virgin drink is so easy – you just need to be sure to get non-alcoholic ginger beer.

It’s so easy to change up the flavors too – these Strawberry Moscow Mules a re a little sweet with tons of strawberry and ginger flavor – perfect for spring and summer!

A selection of drink ingredients on a countertop: a bottle of Bundaberg Diet Ginger Beer, a can of Dole 100% Pineapple Juice, a bottle of Great Value Lime Juice, a fresh lime, and several strawberries.

Ingredients

  • Strawberries – you can use fresh or frozen – but make sure they’re thawed. A thawed frozen strawberry won’t look pretty as garnish but it’ll taste delicious in the drink.
  • Ginger Beer – be sure to get non-alcoholic – sold in the juice or soda aisle.
  • Lime – Lime juice is a must for any copycat mule recipe. I like using fresh, but bottled works too.

How to make Mocktail Strawberry Mules

  1. Be sure to muddle the strawberries in the bottom of the glass. This crushes them and adds tons of flavor into the drink.
  2. Mule glasses are a must – the copper keeps them nice and cold.
  3. I prefer fresh lime juice but bottled works.
  4. Garnish with a fresh berry and slices of lime and/or mint.
  5. It’s easy to turn flavored Moscow mules into a party punch – just mix the muddled fruit with lime juice and pineapple juice. Then everyone can add the ginger beer as they pour themselves drinks (so it doesn’t go flat).
