Shirley temples do not have alcohol, which makes them great for everyone to enjoy. They are delicious for kids and adults alike, plus everyone will love the additional tropical flavor of the blue raspberry syrup. They are quick to whip up, with only 3 ingredients, and can transform a simple dinner or gathering into a fancy and fun occasion. Let this drink transport you back to childhood, but this time with a blue raspberry twist!

How to Make a Shirley Temple Blue
- Shirley temple recipes typically include Sprite or 7-up but you could also use club soda or sparkling water depending on your taste. For a spicier shirley, use ginger ale!
- A splash of grenadine adds a sweet and tart fruity flavor. Homemade grenadine is great too, if you have pomegranates on hand! If you don’t have grenadine, you can use maraschino cherry juice from the jar.
- Then for the tropical twist… blue raspberry syrup! You could also use non-alcoholic blue curacao syrup.
- Serve over ice in a tall glass, then garnish with cherries and limes!!

- Traditionally, this is made with ginger ale but in recent times lemon-lime soda has gained popularity. Use what you prefer.
