This Virgin Cranberry Margaritas recipe is the perfect flavored margarita recipe without alcohol! I love making these for the holidays when cranberries are everywhere – but I actually will make them all year long because I like them so much!

Two glasses of iced cranberry cocktail garnished with lime slices and cranberries, rimmed with sugar. Fresh cranberries and lime halves are scattered around on a gray surface.

This Cranberry Margarita Mocktail combines two different kinds of juice with non-alcoholic triple sec and tonic water. The lime and cranberry mix is one of my favorites and this drink proves it. Yes you can make a Virgin Margarita – and you cane easily flavor it with cranberry – the perfect holiday flavor!

Bottles of cranberry juice and lime juice, a can of tonic water, and a small glass bottle of yellow liquid are arranged on a counter. Additional elements include whole cranberries and lime wedges scattered around.

Ingredients Needed

  • Cranberry Juice: We prefer using 100% juice but you can also use regular.
  • Lime Juice: Fresh is best but bottled works just fine.
  • Triple Sec: I use my homemade orange triple sec, which is essentially orange simple syrup.
  • Tonic Water: Just a splash gives that tequila flavor – use regular or diet. You can also substitute club soda.

How to make Cranberry Margarita Recipe

  • Run a bit of lime around the edge of serving glass. Dip glass upside down in sugar (or salt) to coat the rim. Add ice to glass.

Expert tips

  • If you don’t have tonic water, you can use a lemon-lime soda like Sprite or club soda.
  • Virgin triple sec can be homemade, but you can also buy it if you don’t want to make it. They often sell non-alcoholic mixers at liquor stores or on Amazon.
  • This recipe serves one but it’s easy to double, triple or even make a pitcher. Just multiply everything by the number of servings you want!
