The perfect dressed up soda: a Raspberry Cream Fizz! This recipe combines cream soda (remember how good those are?) and raspberries with a hint of mint for the perfect refreshing (non-alcoholic) drink.

Two tall glasses of a pink raspberry cocktail with mint leaves on top. Fresh raspberries are scattered around, and a can of soda is in the background. The drink is garnished with mint and crushed ice.

Cream Soda was all the rage when I was a kid – I remember drinking cans by the dozen. I never thought to dress it up with other flavors until now – all those years wasted! This recipe mixes raspberries and mint with your favorite soda, but you can use any berry or fruit you like (strawberries would be amazing in this).

A can of Olipop cream soda is next to a ceramic container filled with fresh raspberries, a glass bowl containing white sugar, and a small bunch of mint leaves on a gray surface.

Important Ingredients

  • Raspberries: I like to use fresh berries because they’re prettier.
  • Mint: You’ll need fresh mint – we’re going to muddle it like when you make a Mojito.
  • Cream Soda: This is a classic – if you have trouble finding it in the regular soda aisle, try OlliPop or Poppi.

How to Make a Cream Fizz

  1. It’s important to muddle the raspberries with sugar and mint to infuse the flavor.
  2. Taste the raspberries first – in case they’re super sour (or super sweet) – then you can adjust the sugar.
  3. Be sure to stir the drink before serving to infuse the flavors into the soda.
  4. I like using a tall highball glass for this recipe.
