Ingredients

  • Pineapple Juice, orange juice, and lime juice are going to give the bulk of this drink.
  • A classic mai tai uses orgeat syrup – it’s the flavor you always wonder what exactly it is when you’re drinking this amazing cocktail. To make sure it’s non-alcoholic, I use Torani Orgeat Syrup or Skinny Mixes Almond Syrup. Basically orgeat is almond flavor.
A vibrant tropical cocktail in a glass with a slice of pineapple garnish. The layered drink showcases hues of orange and red. Ice cubes float on top, with a background of cherries, pineapple slices, and orange wedges on a light surface.

How to make a Virgin Mai Tai Mocktail

  1. Use a short cocktail glass filled with ice.
  2. Once you add the juices and syrup be sure to stir the drink.
  3. We love to add a grenadine float on top for color and a little extra flavor.
  4. Garnish with lime slices or a lime wheel, small orange slices and a pineapple wedge. You could also add some maraschino cherries.
  5. To make a party punch: Just multiply the ingredients by the number of servings and add to a large pitcher or big punch bowl. Use frozen fruit to keep it cold without watering it down like when you make Virgin Sangria.
  6. If all the juices and syrups are too sweet for you, add some seltzer water.
