Candied Nuts are so deceptively amazing, you won’t believe they are healthy too.

Mixed nuts are the perfect snack food because they are full of antioxidants, packed with protein, and heart-healthy unsaturated fats.

Make Candied Nuts with your favorite nut of choice – pecans, pistachios, walnuts, almonds, or mixed nuts. Anyway you choose, they are guaranteed to go fast!

Patriotic Chocolate Covered Pretzels

June 26, 2018 by Dorothy 1 Comment

Patriotic Pretzels are perfect for an American themed party! We love making chocolate covered pretzels with patriotic colors and sprinkles!

These are unbelievably easy and everyone loves them.

Have you ever bought a bag of chocolate covered pretzels? I did, once. Then I ate the entire bag in one sitting and vowed never to buy one again.

Instead, I just make my own chocolate coated pretzels whenever I feel like them…because they’re easy to make and it’s almost silly to buy them already dipped.

Dipped pretzel rods are actually one of my favorite things to make for any party for a few reasons: everyone loves them, they’re easy to personalize, easy to make, and you can make them ahead of time. Stored in an airtight container these pretzels will last over a week or two (or even longer).

I’ve made these for Christmas with red and green, for a rainbow party with rainbow sprinkles. You can make them for Halloween or St. Patrick’s Day or any holiday just by changing the color of the candy and the sprinkles.

If you’re afraid of dipping things, don’t be. It’s actually really easy to dip pretzel rods; easier than dipping twisted pretzels or truffles or anything like that.

If you have been on Pinterest or Facebook at all over the past few years, you’ve probably seen hoards of Unicorn themed food recipes. From cake to cupcakes, candy to Starbucks Frappuccinos, Unicorn food is everywhere.

If you’re new to this fad, you may wonder what in the heck Unicorn themed food is. Basically, it’s anything colorful and outrageous with tons of glittery sprinkles. (Take this Unicorn Cake Roll, for example.)

Unicorn themed food is magical and whimsical and makes everyone feel like a kid again. That’s right – it’s not just geared towards kids. Unicorn food is great for everyone, adults and kids alike.

Unicorn Bark is one of the easiest unicorn treats around. With just 4 ingredients it comes together in under 10 minutes. Candy bark is one of our favorite treats to make because the kids can help or even do it all themselves. If they can use the microwave, they can make bark!

Candy bark is so versatile. You can make it any flavor, any color, with any flavors you like. It’s easy to swap out white chocolate for semi-sweet or pink candy for purple. There are no limits to making candy bark, and there are no limits when it comes to making Unicorn Bark either! Use your imagination and get started creating. (It would even be fun to make this black and white and pink for a Kate Spade Party!)

Unicorn Bark is a candy bark that’s totally themed unicorn food! The bright colors and sprinkles will make everyone feel like a kid again.
