We’ve been home – a lot – lately and my daughter is constantly looking for new lunch and snack ideas. Wraps are the perfect thing for kids because they’re portable and easy to change up to their liking.

Kids can get bored of plain old turkey sandwiches – so why not change it up a little for their next lunch and wrap their turkey in a tortilla? Bonus: add a mozzarella stick instead of regular cheese. They add a nice crunch that kids love.

Favorite Mozzarella Sticks

We love mozzarella sticks in our house! No matter how they’re served our daughter is excited when she sees the Farm Rich box.

My freezer wouldn’t be fully stocked without Farm Rich! They’re one of America’s favorite frozen snack and appetizer brands and they have a ton of different options (besides Mozzarella Sticks, we love their Meatballs and Potato Skins!).

Farm Rich Mozzarella Sticks are almost always on my Instacart order – they’re such an easy snack and are made with 100% real Mozzarella Cheese. Have you tried Instacart yet? We’ve been using them for grocery delivery for over a year because of our busy schedule and even more now during this chaotic time. Save yourself the hassle for your next grocery run and order online at Instacart – and you can save a little money when you make these Turkey Wraps because Farm Rich Snacks are currently on sale on Instacart.

Ingredients in Turkey Wraps

This recipe just needs a few simple ingredients:

  • Farm Rich Mozzarella Sticks
  • Deli turkey meat (or you can use ham)
  • Lettuce
  • Tortillas

Assembling these easy wraps

Putting these together couldn’t be easier.

First, cook the Mozzarella Sticks according to the package directions. Each wrap takes two sticks (one serving) so make as many as you need for however many wraps you’re making.

You can bake these in the oven, but we used the air fryer. They cook faster that way, and get crispier, in my opinion.

Then, start with a soft taco size tortilla. Add a leaf of lettuce. You could use romaine, iceberg, spring mix or even arugula, spinach or kale. Use something you (or your kids) enjoy.

Add 2 slices of deli turkey or ham, then place the hot Mozzarella Sticks on top.

Simply roll up the tortilla and enjoy!

Serving Wraps

Now, when it comes to sauces, our daughter is pretty picky (she comes by it honestly, so am I!) so we don’t usually put mustard or dressing on our wraps. Instead, we serve the wrap with a side of ranch for her to dip in.

If you or your children enjoy sauces, feel free to drizzle the inside of the wrap with ranch or mustard or anything they would enjoy.

The perfect after school snack!

Nowadays after school might actually be during distance learning – but no matter what time of day your child is hungry, turkey wraps are a great, easy option. Make it a meal by serving with a side of sliced carrots or fruit.

Storing Wraps

These are best when eaten right after they’re made, while the Farm Rich Mozzarella Stick is hot and gooey, but they’re also great room temperature or cold, making them great for a play date or party.

We had some leftovers and stored them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Jordan ate them for lunch the next day and they were great cold!
